LAPD CHP CALIFORNIA FIRE DEPT. VINTAGE CHROME TRIO T-2 CAN LIGHTS

This listing is for a pair of vintage 1970's Trio T-2 can lights. I received these from the original owner/operator who was a local fire chief. He told me these were  special ordered in chrome finish. Not a popular option at the time,  compared to the standard black finish.  When I got these the chrome was dull and had some minor pitting, so I decided to restore them back to like new condition.
I had them professionally polished and triple chrome plated. Sandblasted and repainted the mounting brackets. Rewired the internals and added brand new Tungsol 540 flashers. I did keep the original lamps since they still worked and looked great. The cans are stamped correctly and have the correct original Dietz 9-50 lamp retainer rings. I have tested both lights and they work as they should. They feature steady burn red GE 4001R towards the front and red/amber GE independently flashing lamps to the rear. This is how they were originally mounted on the vehicle . These lights are in absolute mint like new condition.
