11" Tall, clothes are bright & clean.
Beautiful hand made silk clothing.
Composite hand painted face and hands, paper mache feet, muslin cloth stuffed body.
Michael Lee began making dolls in 1947, after he returned from a War Refugee camp.
He handmade each doll, lovingly designed and constructed the clothing in his 700 square foot apartment in Hong Kong.
He made dolls until his death in 1996.
His dolls are highly sought after by collectors, each of his early dolls carries with it his artistry, love, & inspiration of their creator- Michael Lee.
This doll carries the signature Michael Lee ' Micale' tag on her belly.
Very good vintage condition.
Some crazing noted to her face.
Small chip under her chin.
