Vintage Miner's Flashlight, Koehler Model 281 GB MESA Approved NOS 1970's

Description

This is a Koehler 6 volt flashlight made specifically for miners.  It carries the MESA approval rating.  It is new old stock.  I got this light as an open box and it has never been out of the box until I assembled it to photo it.  The Duracell battery is NOT part of the sale.  The factory supplied battery only retains about 3.5 volts, not enough to power the light.  I am including it as I know some collectors have ways to recharge such batteries and since it is original to the light as new it is included unless the buyer requests it's removal.  I used Koehler products for twenty years in firefighting but those were wet cell and not rated as explosion proof or spark proof.  The original paperwork is include as is the allen wrench to attach the battery cover plate.  The item in the photo except the Duracell battery are the actual items you will receive.  Thank you, be well, Karl
