This listing is for a Vintage West Germany tin litho Trolley, Bus track wind up toy.
I am not sure whether the cars are a Trolley, or a Bus.
When the track is opened up, it measures 42" long, and 4 3/4" tall at the highest point.
There are no keys with it, so i have not been able to test it.
The cars have a dial with teeth on the bottom and when manually turned, the dial turns.
It comes with the bottom of the box that has shelf wear, and a missing side piece.
There is also a side corner of the top of the back.
I will explain how this toy works as i have manually run it through to see how it does.
The track closes into (3) connected sections.
There are (2) top pieces of track that balance on top.
One of these pieces has ridges / grooves for the car dial teeth to pull itself up the track.
This track piece where the cars start out rests in the down position.
When it get to the top, it triggers an arm piece connected to the bottom of this track piece to anchor itself.
The cars then go to the next track piece that makes the cars slide down.
This track piece then springs back up, and the cars roll back to the beginning and start all over again.
The toy is clean with the play wear and paint flecks missing.
Again, i do not have any keys to it, so i have not been able to test it.
